"The days you work are the best days."
- Georgia O'Keefe
From the very start Donna Michele showed a love for art and design. A childhood and adolescence filled with art lessons and classes laid the foundation for what would become a Bachelor of Art & Fine Art in Studio Art from the University of New Mexico. It was in her diverse coursework in painting, drawing, and costuming that Donna Michele discovered her great affinity for fashion. She took her passion for this subject to Parsons School of Design in New York, where she acquired a profound understanding for fashion, art, and their fusion, and went on to work in the footwear and accessories design industry. Her well-rounded artistic education and experience have led Donna Michele back home to New Mexico, where she currently works in jewelry design and creates and her artwork.

Over the years, Donna Michele has sought solace in a number of creative ventures, including graphic design, clothing and footwear design, costuming, and fine art. While all of her work reflects a feminine and contemporary aesthetic, Donna Michele's more recent artwork engages a social agenda to insight conversation and embrace feminist issues.
